This is a question about Ra-08H Development Kit, used with "AT" firmware announced as "+CGMR=release/v1.3.4 LoRaWAN for EU868".
MY QUESTION: What is the minimum set of "AT" commands required to be given to a Ra-08H Dev Kit on its serial interface in order to make it connect to LoRaWAN on Dragino LPS8N Access Point v1, to send to it a message, and then to receive from it message? (The Dragino LSP8N v1 A.P. is already configured and connected to TheThings.Network server)
Apologies if this question is not clear or not correctly asked -- I have dozens of Ai-Thinker ESP8266 and even more ESP32 boards and I have experience with using them with Arduino IDE for dozens of different things, but I have just bought these 4 pcs of Ra-08H Dev Kits and a Dragino LPS8N Access Point from AliExpress. And I see that the procedure for connecting to it is not quite trivial and a lot needs to be set and done on the Ra-08H Dev Kit with "AT" commands before it can connect to and exchange messages on LoRaWAN of Dragino LPS8N v1 A.P.
SITUATION: I have four identical Ra-08H Dev Kits and one Dragino LPS8N Access Point v1 (these access points are very popular and sold in great numbers on AliExpress -- there are many videos on YouTube about how to set them up and I have set it up and connected it to TheThings.Network server). Now I would like for the purposes of testing and proof of concept to do the following:
- Connect a Ra-08H Dev Kit to LoRaWAN of Dragino LPS8N Access Point v1. Both are of the same type (LPS8N is EU868 for Europe and the Ra-08H Dev Board has EU868 hardware with "AT" commands)
- Send one message from the Ra-08H Dev Kit to Dragino LPS8N Access Point v1
- Receive one message on Ra-08H Dev Kit from Dragino LPS8N Access Point v1
If the above is not possible, or if I have not explained it in the correct way, please help me understand this and how to ask my question correctly.
I need Ra-08H Dev Kit to be communicating with the LoRaWAN of Dragino LPS8N Access Point v1. I expect that this can be done with "AT" commands described in Ra-08 AT Command document, v0.1.0 from 2022-03-20, which I have and which I read -- but there are many commands in it and they set many different parameters. My question is: what is the minimum list of "AT" commands needed in order to connect Ra-08H Dev Kit to LoRaWAN on Dragino LPS8N Access Point v1.
I want to avoid setting many unnecessary parameters and executing many unnecessary "AT" commands. I would like to ask for help with what are the absolute necessary "AT" commands to connect a Ra-08H Dev Kit to LoRaWAN on Dragino LPS8N Access Point v1 and then to send and receive simple messages.
