Ra-08(H) Minimum set of "AT" Commands to send and receive a message

Hello All,

This is a question about Ra-08H Development Kit, used with "AT" firmware announced as "+CGMR=release/v1.3.4 LoRaWAN for US915".

MY QUESTION: What is the minimum set of "AT" commands required to be given to a Ra-08H Dev Kit on its serial internface in order to make it transmit one message to a second identical Ra-08H Dev Kit and then to receive one or more messages from the second Dev Kit on the fist Dev Kit?

SITUATION: I have four identical Ra-08H Dev Kits and I would like for the purposes of testing and proof of concept to send one message from the first Dev Kit to the other three Dev Kits.v And I would like them to receive this message. Then, I would like one of these three Dev Kits to send a message to the first Dev Kit and the first Dev Kit to receive it.

I expect that this can be done with "AT" commands described in Ra-08 AT Command document, v0.1.0 from 2022-03-20, which I have and which I read -- but there are many commands in it and they set many different parameters. My question is: what is the minimum list of "AT" commands needed in order to make:

• The first Dev Kit send a simple message to all (to the other three Dev Kits)?
• The first Dev Kit to receive one or more messages from one of the other three Dev Kits?
  

I want to avoid setting many uneccessary parameters and executing many uneccessary "AT" commands. I would like to ask for help with what are the absolute neccessary "AT" commands to send and receive a message.

Hi Man , to achieve this function, you need to burn the firmware separately, or you can do secondary development based on our Ra-08 SDK source code.

Many thanks for your reply, but have you read my question? Also, have you watched the video,which you linked? None of it is about my question because none of it is about "AT" command set.

I actually had watched the video two days ago -- the video, which you linked, it is one of the top results on YouTube searching for "Ra-08", so it was the first video that I watched -- and it has nothing to do with "AT"commands and nothing to do with my question. It also is not technical -- it is a commercial presentation showing just some pictures and providing no technical information. This is why one YouTube user asked in the comments to the video where to get the project files and the answer to the question on YouTube was a joke: it linked to the User Manual webpage --completely useless and totally the wrong place, because there is  nothing in the User Manual about what was shown on the video. And of course, the video on YouTube is not about my question -- it is not about"AT" commands and not an answer to my question.

Do you say that in order to send and to receive a simple message the user will need to do secondary development and change the source code of the SDK? Is it not possible to send and receive a simple message with the "AT" commands!?

I think that your answer perhaps was aimed at a different question. My question is what is the minimum list of "AT" commands to send and to receive a message. I do not want or intend to do secondary development and modify the source code of the SDK. Why? Because the "AT" commands have already a command to send and another command to receive messages, I want to use these commands, but it appears that before sending or before receiving a message one needs to set quite a few parameters. My question is about these "AT" commands -- what is the minimum set of "AT" commands that is required in order to send and receive a message.

Do you have a concrete example? Please do not answer in general, please answer my specific question, ideally answer by listing the "AT" commands together with some example parameters and in the correct order that these commands need to be issued to a Ra-08(H) Dev Kit on the serial interface to it.

All of the above problems can be solved. LoRaWAN protocol stipulates that point-to-point communication is not allowed, so only LoRa private protocol can be followed, and the firmware needs to be updated. Please refer to this link:
